Fantastic opportunity for a Principal Structural Engineer to join a well-established Building & Places Business Unit based in Dublin!!!

A leading consultancy is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to help support projects within the Built Environment with a broad focus on Commercial, Residential, Mission Critical and Capital Infrastructure projects.

You will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of major schemes which would be a fantastic addition to your CV.

Responsibilities:

* Effectively control commercial, managerial and technical aspects of projects or parts thereof for which you are responsible
* Sourcing opportunities and preparing fee proposals for submission to client, including resources and programme
* Leading a team of engineers and technicians designing and delivering building projects
* Undertaking structural engineering projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate
* Supervising work, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and that it is managed to programme and budget
* Mentoring graduate engineers and those approaching Chartership

Requirements:

* You should have a Degree in Structural Engineering or another equivalent qualification, with experience of Structural Engineering in directly relevant fields
* Ability to deliver design solutions, assessment calculations, lead teams and successfully manage projects
* A solid track record of having worked on a variety of structures projects, possibly as project leader on some, with experience of dealing directly with clients
* Ideally, you will have a knowledge and experience of the local Dublin Marketplace
* Ideally, you will be Chartered with a relevant institution
