An SEMH school in Littlehampton are looking for a KS3/4 teacher who can lead their Maths department. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience working with challenging students and is able to relate to these students in order to help them access the curriculum.
You will be supported by a brilliant support staff and management that have a clear view of the schools on-going development.

Responsibilities for this role:

* Head the Maths department
* Plan, prepare and deliver Maths lessons
* Contribute toward the assessment and attainment of students
* Adhere to school policies and vision
* Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all students


Skills required to for this role:

* Experience working in an EBD setting
* Experience in tailoring curricula cross KS3/4 stages
* Teaching experience in this type of setting is essential
* Ability to be flexible and resilient
* An understanding of de-escalating
