We are looking for someone with great interpersonal and communication skills who will be able to support the Head of HR in managing all human resources related aspects, administration, and training and employee relations within the School.
This is a part time role, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday within a specialist school in Thornbury. The school benefits from on site parking and beautiful surroundings. You will be joining a well established and supportive team.

General Responsibilities
* Maintain confidentiality at all times; some information will be of a sensitive nature, some will be covered by the Data Protection regulations
* Perform duties to agreed timetables and deadlines
* Comply with health and safety policies, including fire precautions and prevention.
* Ensure all School policies are read, understood and followed.
* Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning pupils and staff.
* Undertake any such other duties as reasonably required by the Head of HR.

We are looking for applicants with
* Recognised HR qualification.
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent
* Evidence of recent relevant professional development
* Have previous experience at a similar level in a related field of work
* Understanding of relevant legislation including employment law
* Collaborative working skills
* High level ICT skills
