Randstad Technologies are delighted to be partnered with a global security consultancy in Berkshire on their search for a Junior SIEM Engineer/SOC Analyst. The role is newly created due to continued company growth and has outstanding prospects to progress through the busy SOC.

The company are a global entity, and in turn can offer relocation to the American offices in time if there is appetite. There's a very passionate cyber team who regularly host Red v Blue and Capture the Flag tournaments in their state of the art SOC. On top of that, the company have a nearly unlimited training budget, this is a great prospect for those who are looking to add certifications to their record.

Although you'll receive guidance from the management alongside the world class training programme, my client is looking for the following experience as a minimum;

* In depth knowledge of SIEM tools (LogRhythm & Forcepoint would be preferable but any SIEM knowledge will be acceptable.)
* Relevant education (preferably degree level but equivalent education or hands on experience will also be considered.)
* Knowledge of researching and managing threats.
