Job responsibilities:
* Working with learners on a 1:1 basis and in small group sessions
* Monitor pupils progress and report back to the main teacher
* Participating in therapy sessions including sensory rooms, occupational therapy and art therapy
* Supervise pupils on educational visits and days out from the school
* Building on key life skills and boosting confidence
* Attend weekly training sessions and specialised workshops
* Take part in a training course for level 1 Makaton to help communicate with pupils
* Build good relationships with parents/carers and work together to support student
* Understand the needs of individual pupils and flex your style to best suit them

Ideal candidates will have the following:
* Experience with ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, PMLD and speech and language difficulties
* Must have experience within SEN, care, nursing or support worker roles
* Own Means of transport (free parking onsite)
* Committed to safeguarding
* Keen willingness to learn and progress in your role
* A great personality, energy and sense of humour
