Regional Sales Engineer

A well known manufacturer and distributor of sealing products are currently looking to recruit for a Regional Sales Engineer to report into the Sales Director for a growing business with this current requirement owning to growth. It's the opportunity to join a small team of 5 from a local office supporting the wider business function.

The majority of the businesses current leads of developed by their website allowing for warm leads however you will be required to occasionally source your own leads through varying methods including LinkedIn, Walk-Ins and Phone Calls.

The role is field based covering the North of England from Lancaster to Stoke (Including North Wales and areas of Yorkshire), the role will be field based and as such you will be responsible for managing your own diary 4 days a week with the 5th day to be spent in the office completing admin tasks and preparing for the next week.

You will be targeted with generating new leads, whilst developing and growing existing customers. In the role you will be responsible for:

* Conducting meetings with customers and finding out there requirements
* Maintaining current customer relationships,
* Product demonstrations

You will have previous experience in business to business sales in either and external or an internal fashion with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will also:

* Have the ability to influence and negotiate
* Experience of selling one or more of the following: Seals, Gaskets, Rubber Mouldings, Rings, Bearings or Power Transmissions.
* Ability to make decisions quickly.
