An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regulatory Business Analyst to join our client, a Leading Asset Manager based in London. The successful candidate will work with a wide variety of business teams to help deliver regulatory obligations across non-FX OTC derivative products.

Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst will include:
* Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, collaborate on requirements and ensure that the technology strategy is aligned with the business goals and corporate strategy
* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Actively participate in the delivery life-cycle including Agile and other methodologies and develop documentation such as system user guides and business process
* Responsible for the business analysis function within the project to deliver the required functionality

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes/skills:
* Exceptional knowledge of Asset Management front office business processes, workflows and experience of business process re-engineering
* Ability to read and understand financial regulations from a variety of sources and summarise the likely impact of these regulations on an Investment Management company specifically relating to for non-FX OTC derivative products
* In-depth experience of implementing regulations within Investment/ Asset Management including MIFIR; MIFID 2; EMIR & ASIC for non-FX OTC derivative products
* In-depth knowledge of Unavista or another major Trade Repository
* Good knowledge of OMS systems including Charles River, Aladdin or Simcorp, including an understanding of the database supporting trade processing and how regulations are likely to impact that trade flow
* Ability to interrogate databases using SQL
* Working knowledge of FIX and XML messaging
