Do you have outstanding interpersonal skills? This is an opportunity for a Community Liaison Officer to join a high profile project working within the Construction industry. You will be based in Buckinghamshire and working on a long term contract basis.

The ideal candidate would have worked in a Community Liaison Officer role previously ideally within construction and be the central point of contact between the project and the local community. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to attend meetings, roadshows/events during evenings and weekends (overtime paid)

Temp Contract for circa 6 months +

Paying £200-£230 per day LTD (£150 - £170 PAYE)

Community Liaison Officer Responsibilities:

* Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager, the Community Liaison Officer will provide a
* To be the central point of contact to local communities
* To engage in activities such as meetings, events and consultations
* To establish, build and maintain relationships with local residents, businesses, community and stakeholder groups.
* Ensure that communities are engaged in the project plans and to ensure that project risk is mitigated from within the community.
* Establish, build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholder groups,
* Respond to stakeholder complaints and enquiries and resolve within set timescales
* Attend regular public events acting as a representative of project
* Prepare and effectively distribute advance work notices via letter drops, emails, social media etc…
* Produce regular newsletters to advise external stakeholders of progress with the scheme
* Assist in the arrangement of public information exhibitions including booking of venues, production of exhibition boards etc.
* The nature of the work requires attending meetings, roadshows, drop-ins and events during evenings and weekends.

Community Liaison Officer Requirements:

* Experience working as a Community Liaison officer ideally on construction projects
* Fantastic communication skills
* Empathy and understanding
* Able to deal with difficult scenarios
* Have an awareness of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
* Demonstrate good IT Skills packages including: Publisher and Powepoint
* Strong organisational skills
