An exciting opportunity to join a well established manufacturing company based in BS16. This temporary to permanent opportunity offers a varied and interesting career reporting into the company Financial Controller.

You will take responsibility for the day to day processing within the accounts function to include, bank postings and reconciliations, supplier payments and credit control, payroll processing, pensions and other ad-hoc tasks. Working alongside experienced accountant and purchase ledger clerk.

Key responsibilities include:

Update bank accounts and reconcile

Pay PAYE and NIC

Staff expenses

Credit control

Updating sales ledger

Supplier payment run

Agency time sheets

Submitting invoices

Management of and assistance with purchase ledger

Month end bank recs

Payroll and pensions

If you have experience of working within a payroll position this would be a great opportunity for you, ideally you will have knowledge of Sage, however this is not essential.
