IT Operations Engineer - Chippenham - £35,000 to £46,000

An innovative SaaS provider is now recruiting for a new IT Operations Engineer to join their team in Chippenham. It is a great time to be joining the business as they are investing heavily in their technology stack - implementing new Linux platforms, SQL systems and moving further towards DevOps tools.

They now need an IT Engineer with strong core skills in Linux and SQL to take ownership of the infrastructure that underpins their development environment. As the successful candidate you must have:

- Strong experience with Linux systems

- Experience with SQL (flexible on the variant e.g. MySQL / MariaDB / Oracle PLSQL / SQL Server will all be considered)

- Any experience of Ansible would be an advantage, but not essential

- Any experience of Java would be an advantage, but not essential

- Excellent communication skills and a personable , collaborative approach
