Have you worked in the Construction industry? A Cost Assistant is required to join a tier 1 construction company working on a major rail project in East London. Experience working in the Construction sector is key to this role

The role is for a long term temp contract 6months + based in East London. Please only apply if you can get to this location.

You will be working 40 hours a week.

This position is paying circa £14-£18 ph LTD (£10-13 ph PAYE)

You will be working within the finance team and assisting with invoicing, GRN's, reconciliations and query resolution.

It is desirable to have experience using COINS system.

* Invoice batching
* Material GRN Inputting
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Assisting in invoice query resolution
* General support to the finance team
* Ensure good working relationships are maintained with the contract team, the
* customer, suppliers and head office
* Assisting in KPI results and analysis
* Critical Suppliers Adherence
* Finance Document Control
* Maintenance of Records & Filing System
* Invoice Query Resolution Support
* Material GRN Process
* Month End Process Support
* Payment Run Assistance
* Statement Reconciliations

Cost Admin Requirements:

* Previous experience working in the construction industry
* Experience working in a financial administration role
* COINS Experience preferable
* Attributes and skills Ability to communicate effectively
* Ability to deal effectively with people
* Knowledge of administrative principles and their application
* Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team
* Computer literate
