Main Duties

To respond to customer queries from the public and colleagues on a full range of issues regarding services provided by Newport City Council and other partner organisations.

To provide an efficient, professional and personalised service with focus on creating a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

Answering the telephones
Answering all queries relating to council queries, i.e environmental health, trading standards, waste etc.

Data entry after each call
Responding to any e-mail queries
To ensure that a high standard of professional customer service is provided at all times.

Requirements

You must have customer service experience
You must be a strong IT skills
You must be available for an immediate start
You must be happy with temporary work
