My client are a leading provider of facilities management and building maintenance. They pride their excellence and reputation on providing businesses with long term facilities management solutions. They are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Engineer to work on a commercial contract which they have recently won. This role will see the Engineer have a predominant focus on the general upkeep and maintenance of commercial boilers and HVAC equipment.

The role:

* The engineer will cover around 25 sites that are based within travelling distance of Lincoln.
* 8-5 working hours
* Overtime available to increase earnings
* Private health care
* Company van provided (with option of personal use as well as business)
* 33 days holiday including bank holidays
* Tool set provided.

Key Responsibilities:

* Joining a team of around 15 members of staff who cover the midlands area of the UK.
* Undertake all allocated HVAC and Gas related reactive and planned maintenance tasks to an agreed standard.
* Complete tasks within set requirements, with work orders opened and closed in real time.
* Timely completion of reactive and planned works carried out to agreed standards achievement of first fix and maximising equipment uptime.
* Effectively diagnose and identify faults and failures with equipment and systems and provide effective solutions and escalate where necessary.
* Provide regular updates to helpdesk and planning team on task status.
* Provide HVAC and Gas related technical support as required, e.g. advice regarding major operational issues.

Key Requirements:

* Great communication skills.
* Great team working experience.
* The ability to prioritise workloads.
* Full UK driving licence.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant discipline.
* CDGA1 - Commission, service, repair & breakdown of commercial direct fired heating appliances & equipment
* COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety assessment criteria -
* CPA1 - Combustian performance analysis
* Experience in air conditioning, comfort cooling systems. ventilation systems, hot & cold water systems, LPHW heating & water systems, controls systems, hands on experience of large Multi deck DX coil package system / VRV's / Split systems.
