Groundsman / Building Caretaker

Salford

3 month TEMP to PERM role

£9 Per Hour

The Company

My client offers its public-sector and private-sector customers a raft of integrated and bespoke services to improve overall performance of their facilities and create a safe, efficient and comfortable living environment for those who work in them.

Whether the services concerned are dedicated to occupants (security, catering, cleaning, landscape management, reception, parking lot management and vehicle fleet management) or building operation (heating and ventilation, fluid management, power (high and low voltage), elevators and automated doors and gates), My client takes care of all Facilities Management services under the terms of single site and multi-site contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will have experience of undertaking cleaning / gardening duties. You will have experience of carrying out low level maintenance duties as set out in the caretaker task sheet, to a high standard.

Possessing effective communication skills to communicate with tenants, staff and other professionals, you will be flexible in working hours to accommodate a working rota in conjunction with the needs of the service and other team members.

Ideally you will have qualifications relating to COSHH, Health & Safety and / or horticulture.

A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for these roles.

The candidate must be able to do the following:

* Clean certain areas if needed
* Handyman duties
* Grounds Maintenance (checking the grounds for anything that could harm the children)
