Payroll Clerk £18 - 22000k - PERMANENT


One of our within Stevenage are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their current team of 8. The client requires a candidate with tenacity, an eye for detail, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will be running the full end to end payroll process; monthly, fortnightly and weekly for 2500 employees.

Key responsibilities of the Payroll Clerk will include:

* Processing regular payroll for both permanent and casual staff
* Processing starters and leavers
* Creating payroll journals
* Assist with maintenance and processing of the payroll system
* Maintain staff records using internal database

The ideal Payroll Clerk will possess the following attributes/skills:

* 3 years experience
* An autonomous and driven work ethic
* Strong Microsoft Excel experience
