Are you looking for an exciting opportunity where you can use your desire to join a highly reputable construction business as a Sales Trainee? Do you have prior experience in sales? If so, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Trainee to work for a leading construction business based in Leatherhead.

As a Sales Trainee, you will enjoy working for an exciting construction business! The Sales Trainee will be tasked with providing support to a highly successful sales team and clients alike. If you have a passion for sales and are in a Sales role then this would be a great opportunity to carve out an excellent sales career. However, experience is a bonus therefore, if you are willing to learn and have an interest in developing a career further in sales and are open to learning and get your hands dirty then this could be the role for you.

In this position you will build relationships with clients and be part of the in-house development programme! You will also receive support and exposure of the wider business and ideally progress to an external field sales role. The offices are located in Leatherhead and will include travel therefore a full and clean driving license is a must.

Benefits:

Excellent starting salary £20,000 - £25,000 plus OTE £10,000 -£15,000, company car, expenses and additional corporate benefits.

Key responsibilities

* As a Sales Trainee, you will be heavily involved in a range of projects and sales training.
* You'll be expected to be hands on and won't be afraid to learn new things and get your hands dirty.
* Once the initial training period is over, you will have learnt the necessary skills to develop and manage a portfolio of clients, and progress your sales career quickly.

The requirements:

* Bachelor's degree is preferred but not essential as the right attitude will be favoured over educational background and experience.
* Previous B2B sales is preferred but not essential.
* Completely comfortable in communicating with professionals at all levels.
* Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills is preferred.
* Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry is preferred.
* Experience in learning new systems or processes.
* Strong organisational skills
