Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician - Milton Keynes - Permanent - leading Company

Are you a proven Maintenance Technician seeking work with a leading company in Milton Keynes?

Our leading Maintenance company client based in MK are seeking a motivated and driven Maintenance Technician (Mechanical bias) on a permanent basis to work at there site in MK. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for delivering the Planned Maintenance (PM) schedules as defined by the site maintenance plans, working to a high standard and in a cost-effective manner.

Duties Include:

* Complete the Planned Maintenance inspections as defined by the site maintenance plans
* Deliver corrective and reactive work, ensuring that tools, parts and materials are available and production downtime is minimised
* Ensure that all plant and equipment on sites is modified and improved, as necessary
* Complete dynamic risk assessments where necessary to ensure that safe working practices
* Manage stock control and maintain shift paperwork to the highest standard
* Undertake assessments of malfunctioning equipment and provide advice to the site management
* Undertake engineering project work and assist with new installations or refurbishments.

Experience Needed:

* Completed apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) in appropriate engineering discipline.
* Experience working within a processing, manufacturing or similar environment.
* HNC, City & Guilds or equivalent in a relevant discipline
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to think logically and decisively
* Excellent diagnostic skills
