Are you looking to work with an organisation who strives to make life in their Nursing Homes as stimulating and fulfilling as possible? Do you want to work for one of the leading Care providers in the North East who are currently expanding?

We are working with a Specialist Care Centre in Newcastle require a Staff Nurse with experience in Elderly Care, Dementia and EMI Nursing, Challenging behaviours and Mental health. The unit offers residence to 45+ service users who are a mixture of adults and older adults.

You will be working alongside the Home Manager, Deputy and Staff Nurses during your shifts ensuring everything is following CQC guidelines, medication management, medication ordering, spot checks and auditing the care plans in place.

Hours of work are: 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am

The role requires qualified and experienced Registered Staff Nurses (RMN/RGN/RNLD) with an active NMC pin, experience in a similar setting is required.

As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for:

* Administering medication to residents within the required time scales
* Overseeing Staff Nurses on shift
* Completing daily observations/notes
* Assisting with Care plans
* Using the unit's system to record data and manage appointments for residents

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:

* An understanding of the role required from a Nurse in a home environment.

* Excellent verbal and written communication

* Ability to work well as part of a team and take the lead when needed.

The minimum requirements for this role are:

- NMC registered

- Nursing qualification (Mental Health, General or Learning Disabilities)
