Internal Software Consultant
£30,000 + £15,000 bonus

An award-winning global IT reseller is looking for an Internal Software Consultant to join their team.
As the successful Internal Software Consultant, you will be a valuable part of the Software team and be required to

* Support/assist the External Software Consultant and Sales Teams
* Focusing on creating and increasing GP through effective account mapping, gap analysis and proactive targeting of accounts.
* Create and manage software pipeline
* Achieve a quarterly business target
* Generate, develop and execute against their sales activity plan
* Build and maintain relationships with the companies sellers and customers
* Manage strong partner relationships within software vendors
* Keep general business administration; managed against annual KPI's
* Monitor and report on activities to provide relevant management information and feedback
* Take a genuine interest in the customers business and a responsibility for their continued spending levels and growth
* Liaising with all other departments and functions to ensure excellence in all actions with clients and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction
* Develop and maintain portfolio product knowledge
* Liaise with internal departments to close and resolve business
* To take a proactive sales role as required by Software
* Production of quotations in response to client enquiries
* Understand Vendor promotions and special bid process
* Understand deal registration process
* Understand channel rules of engagement.
* Ability to change and prioritise tasks constantly throughout the day/week/month

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities

A strong knowledge of the IT industry.
Working knowledge of the software landscape within IT.
MLSS / MSLE or equivalent accreditations
Strong new business drive and skill set
Experience working in a sales environment
Willingness to travel across to different sites and Customer meetings
Proven sustained success and over achievement versus target
Solid skills in qualification and negotiation
Ability to analyse customer requirements
High levels of attention to detail
Familiarity with feedback to line managers and stake holders
Demonstrable understanding on the workings of large accounts
Experience on how to interface with vendors
Self starter and ability to work on own initiative
Ability to build a rapport with customers, partners.
