Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

*£20-22 per hour* *South London* *Immediate Start*

Main Responsibilities of the role;

* To pro-actively investigate and resolve instances of anti-social behavior (ASB) affecting and/or perpetrated by residents. To build effective professional relationships with internal and external partners to tackle and prevent ASB.
* To take the lead on investigations, support and develop the Housing Officers to provide excellent customer service to complainants. Support continuous improvement and increased satisfaction.
* Participate in investigating all reports of ASB received by the organisation. Manage a portfolio of cases focusing on working with alleged offenders, and domestic abuse victims, to resolve cases using a variety of different legal and non-legal methods.
* Provide guidance and assistance to Housing Management colleagues dealing with complainants, to bring cases to a successful conclusion within the service standards set.
* Interpret and apply key legislation to address ASB. Prepare and present high quality legal documents and statements. Attend court and give evidence, representing the organisation in a professional and credible manner.
* Lead on a key area of ASB work. Act as a champion providing guidance and advice to the rest of the department. Develop policies and procedures around this area of work. Develop relationships with external bodies involved to deliver excellent services in this area.

Requirements;

* Must have experience of dealing with domestic violence and gang cases.
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle suitable for work purposes (desirable)
