Mathematics is an interconnected subject in which pupils need to be able to move fluently between representations of maths ideas.

Are you able to provide a foundation for the understanding of the world, the ability to reason mathematically, an appreciation of the beauty and power of mathematics and a sense of enjoyment and curiosity about the subject.

We are searching for an experienced & creative Maths teacher that can construct information that notes connections, contrast and trends over time and develop the appropriate learning module that connects across all learning needs.

Start from January 2020 (or sooner if notice period permits).

£30,000 - £45,000 + TLR, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

* Creating a climate for learning that is conducive for excellent practice
* Identifying clear teaching and learning objectives
* Differentiating to provide support for students with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) and challenge for those who are gifted and talented
* Using a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge students, and ensure high levels of interest
* Developing approaches to Self-Directed Learning and use technology to support learning
* Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
* Using a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge students, and ensure high levels of interest
* Produce reports for parents in line with the school calendar
* Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
* Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and set an outstanding example to stakeholders through personal and professional conduct

You will

* Possess recent experience of working in a school teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Maths and the GCSE Maths examinations' syllabus specifications
* Be an inspiring, engaging and effective communicator
