Hours of Work and Pay Rate:

* Monday - Friday
* 3 shift rotation

* 06:00AM-14:00PM
* 14:00PM-22:00PM
* 22:00PM-06:00AM

* Or
* Friday, Saturday and Sunday
* Weekly shift rotation

* 06:00AM-18:00PM
* 18:00PM-06:00AM

* £35,000 PER ANNUM
* Negotiable dependent upon experience

Responsibilities:

The maintenance engineer will be responsible for 1st and 2nd line repairs of machinery producing mother and childcare products and will include but not limited to the following duties;

* Carry out repairs and remedy complex failures on a significant proportion of the site machinery
* Troubleshooting issues on the machinery listed below; identifying the root cause, and implementing permanent solutions to prevent recurrence of the problem
* Bespoke automation, robotic assembly, and packaging equipment
* Injection moulding machines: Demag, Nissei, Arburg, and Engel
* Robotics: Sepro, Staubli
* Identify and carry out improvement activity, including Kaizen (LEAN), and support engineering improvement projects, including supporting the site-wide deployment of TPM.
* Actively train down skills through standardized work to others
* Ensure that all knowledge and information with regards to machine issues and breakdowns are recorded appropriately (Planet, machine ledgers, etc.)

Requirements:

* Electrical and mechanical experience in a production assembly/moulding environment
* Proven maintenance experience in a production environment
* Experience working with complex automation
* Desired -Experience in PLC (programmable logic controllers) fault finding
* Desired -Robotics experience
