Contracts Manager

Contract Type - Permanent

Location - Kent

Salary - up to £80,000 plus package

Client: Privately owned main contractor founded over 30 years ago who operate throughout the South employing approximately 200 staff. Their success is built around their strong core values and respect for their clients, staff and supply chain.

Projects: Current projects include healthcare, housing, offices and care homes ranging from £2mil - £15mil.

Position: Seeking a Contracts Manager responsible for between 3 -5 projects at one time to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, on budget and exceed client expectations. Duties will include:

* Ensuring project is delivered safely through effective planning & use of method and risk assessments
* Main point of contact for Client, Sub-Contractors and Public.
* Managing completion and the handover to the client

* Ensure that the programme deadlines are achieved
* Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality
* Manage and maintain the project budgetary requirements
* Ensuring sufficient resources are in place; while maintaining budget for successful completion of the project.
* Providing regular progress updates to Directors

Requirements

* 4 years minimum as Contracts Manager working with similar contractor
* Highly Organised
* Good problem solvers
* Work well under pressure
