I'm currently recruiting for a customer service role based in central Winchester. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the possibility of staying on longer. You will be working on a full time temporary basis with a very busy customer services team. The working hours are 08.30-17.00 Monday to Thursday and 08.30-16.30 on Fridays, with a one hour lunch break.

As a customer service advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers. You will be dealing with customers queries and responding through a variety of channels including phone, internet, text service and from time, on a face to face basis. You will be taking inbound calls, but will also have the need to make outgoing calls when following up customer queries and complaints. On a day to day basis you will be;
*Responsible for processing and resolving customer enquiries covering a range of services, identifying and understanding customer needs.
*Carrying out general administrative and reception duties when required ensuring that the business is represented in a professional and polite manner throughout.
*Providing accurate information on services to ensure consistency across the organisation and provide a reliable and trustworthy customer service.
*Working as part of the customer service centre team and with colleagues in associated departments to deliver solutions to customer enquiries.
*Taking part in team briefings, training and on-going coaching sessions.
*Other duties as required

Key skills and experience required;
*Good IT skills
*Able to record accurate information whilst having a conversation with the customer
*Experience working in a customer service environment is essential
*Experience of using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers through any contact channel
*Able to gain information from customers to ensure enquiries are dealt with appropriately and to provide clear, confident explanations to customers and colleagues
*Experience of taking and processing payments
*Able to work in a busy customer facing environment and deliver outstanding customer excellence
