Design manager

My client is an excellent regional building contractor with work across the South. They have an immediate need for a lead design manager to be based from their head office covering multiple sites. You will report to the Construction Director and work closely with the pre construction team and contracts managers.

My client deliver a mix of schemes in the following sectors, Education, Commercial building and refurbishments. They have live schemes across the M3 Corridor at present and some travel with this role will be required. You will be based from the office but you will need to visit sites as part of the role. You will also be working with the pre construction team and helping with tender submissions value engineering etc.

Ideally you will have worked for other main contractors delivering design and build schemes. The value range of the schemes vary from 2-12m in the main so a similar level of experience would be advantageous.

* Previous design and build project experience
* Operational or technical background considered
* CSCS
* Full UK driving license.
