Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer

About the company
My client is a Tier 1 specialist mechanical & electrical installation contractor. The business is a long established organisation with extensive major project experience. They pride themselves on delivering engineering excellence across the building services industry and have the ability to delivery projects from inception through to completion. The company have gone through a period of extensive growth and hence are seeking a mechanical project engineer to work on a major project based in Central/ West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer or someone who is looking to progress their career in to a role of this nature.
About the role
As mechanical project engineer you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the procurement of specialist mechanical subcontractors
* Management of the concept design process
* Reviewing design input from mechanical subcontractors
* Interface with the electrical engineering team
* Front end technical submittals/ take off's/ RFI's
* Management of mechanical services delivery
* Overseeing full snagging/ commissioning & testing stages enduring the project is delivered on time and according to specification.
In return my client is offering the following:
* A basic salary of up to £75,000
