We are recruiting for a candidate who can take the UK side of an international business to the next level!

The main aspect of your role would be to drive sales into the business through developing existing accounts, prospecting new customers and generating more GP for the company.

The company are an international business with it's head office in Europe, they have several key clients in the UK but you will be responsible for starting up properly the UK side, starting off generating new business and increasing annual turnover but also moving onto recruiting new staff members, setting up new offices and managing the operational side of the business!

There is currently an office in Leamington Spa, however this isn't a set location and we would like the successful candidate to be commutable from Solihull. The ideal candidate would be able to manage upwards to the sales director and be running the UK side of the company!

The company are within the automotive industry, so an interest in cars and this sector would definitely be beneficial!

Your Responsibilities:

60% Sales:
* Account Management of existing clients/ accounts
* Attend face to face meetings of new and existing clients
* Sales pipeline for new business - enlarge UK customer base
* Attend relevant shows/ events and target B2C customers
* Attend sales meetings internationally every 3 months
* Attend training the first weeks internationally
* Set up networking events all over the country including at car shows, you would be expected to attend and also set up stalls etc.
* Constantly come up and deliver new ways of driving the business forward

40% Operational
* Sales administration duties when required
* Support with the international accounts team with the UK side of the accounts - ensuring all payments needed are done in a timely manner
* When set up, support with the recruitment and management of new staff

Skills, experience and attributes
* Proven track record of delivering sales and driving new business
* Experience of managing accounts of larger, corporate companies
* BDM/ sales experience and wanting to move into a more senior role
* Some management experience would be ideal, training and coaching new staff members
* Self motivated and a self starter
* Must be able to work well individually and happy to work in an office on your own
* Excellent communication skills to stakeholders of all levels
* Ability to use own initiative and make decisions to drive the business forward
* Ability to be proactive in all circumstances, to maximise + drive sales/ the business forward
* Happy with international travel
* Interest in cars/ the automotive sector
