Randstad are delighted to be working alongside a national organisation and one of the largest property owners in the UK. They are recruiting for a Facilities Support Assistant, primarily based between the areas of Birmingham and Solihull.

The Facilities Support Assistants will oversee, monitor and ensure the delivery of FM support services within the clients West Midlands property portfolio. The FM support services are to be delivered in line with company and customer policies and procedures, work schedules, contracted services, and as directed by the Service Manager.

You will be required to liaise and effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, site representatives and other internal staff, to effectively arrange and deliver planned and reactive works, provide updates and feedback where necessary for a range of subjects including but not limited to; non-conformities, changes and additions to policies, procedures, schedules and systems, contracts, and project works. Undertake site meetings with customers, audits of works and records, inspections and evaluations of project, planned or reactive works, which will ensure the effective delivery of FM services to patients, stakeholders and visitors, within the portfolio.

Due to the nature of the business and estate, the range of work activities will always vary and the successful candidate must be flexible in their approach to working activities.

The successful candidate must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for the role:

* Hold a valid and clean driving license, with access to a fully insured vehicle for business use (lease car option available following probation)
* Have experience working within the FM, maintenance or contract service industries at a similar level
* Have strong communication skills with demonstrable examples for communicating with customers, contractors, colleagues
* Strong IT skills and experience for Microsoft Office packages, Outlook, etc
