Are you an experienced Children's Residential Care Manager looking for a change?

Randstad is looking for a Care Manager to support an expanding service in Kilmarnock. You will be responsible for the everyday running of a residential unit housing three young people with emotional behavioural difficulties and in the new year supporting the opening of a second unit.

A successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Working effectively as part of a team
-Managing team of support workers
-Gaining referrals from local authority
-Completing logs and admin up to date
- Supporting service users to engage with their peers
- Liaising with local authorities to gain referrals and ensure consistent level of care
- Maintaining a professional manner and working to National Care Standards

To be successful in your application, you will:
- Have previous experience working with challenging behaviour in young people in a similar position
- Have had CAMHS or equivalent training
- Have strong communication skills
- Be registered under the PVG scheme
- Have a full driving licence (desirable)
- Have obtained a Social Work Degree, SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
