Our client, a market leader in Professional Services Business Intelligence is looking for articulate, intelligent B2B Business Development Manager with experience in selling solution based subscription products, or information services, to join their fast growing team in brand new offices in the heart of London!

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for finding, nurturing and closing new business prospects and selling our variety of products over to new clients and mapping out broader account opportunities.

You will use your solution sales and negotiation skills to grow your client base by approaching new clients, planning and preparing presentations and communicating our product offering.

Key Responsibilities

*Generation of new business across all allocated products and territory
*Lead generation using both internal and external research resources
*Implementation of sales plans for products and territories to meet your sales targets
*Progression of Leads through the buying stage to move Leads and Opportunities to Closed Won or Closed, Lost status.
*Updating our group CRM to ensure the CRM accurately reflects your sales activity at all times
*Presenting to clients face to face and via online demos - as well as closing over the phone
*Ensuring your clients have signed contracts and orders are processed in line with the compliance criteria within Globe
*Maintain effective working relationships with your colleagues
*Develop an understanding of the key markets we operate in

REQUIREMENTS

1-2+ years in a B2B Business Development role, ideally in subscription based information products, saas or other content solution
Professional and confident phone manner
Confident in being able to generate new business and close
Self motivated and eager to succeed
Clear communicator and good presenter
Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
Ability to self-motivate and work in a target driven environment
Proven track record in achieving target
