I am currently looking for a Customer Service Assistant in Luton, Bedfordshire to work with a reputable client, on a permanent basis.

Main duties:

* Deliver customer (internal and external) needs while building effective relationships
* Respond positively to all customers through effective communication and personal accessibility
* Understand procedures and processes and operate them to the required standard
* Support the Contract Manager in compiling reports as required for contractual requirements and other reasonable tasks
* Support the client and answer calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
* Determine the nature, priority of faults based on information provided by the client and raise and assign work orders to relevant resources (Concept Evolution)
* Liaise closely with site teams and head office, ensuring accurate processing of quotations and purchase orders
* Allocation and management of the supply chain and engineering team and drive them to attend within required SLA's by monitoring the calls through to completion via daily performance reports
* To obtain a comprehensive understanding of the scope of the contract and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance to the contract scope and not outside
* Financial system - Purchase and Sales ledger (Dynamics)
* Actively identify and implement innovation across the contract to enhance performance and continue to meet client expectations
* Ensure QHSE documentation is maintained and readily available using systems
* Effective communication with all levels of internal teams and external customers
* Be aware of daily operations and the specific scope of the contract

Requirements:

* Committed to customer service delivery
* Experience within a customer service based role
* Excellent verbal and good basic standard of written, communication skills.
* Demonstrate a good customer focus
* A good basic education is essential, with at least GCSE passes in Maths and English or equivalent.
* Higher educational qualifications to 'A' level/HNC/D or degree would be beneficial
* Good PC based skills, with experience in Word/Excel and Outlook - intermediate to advance level.
