The company brief:

This relatively small practice specialise in various interesting, residential and commercial office projects throughout the South of the UK. They pride themselves on their outstanding attention to detail and being a design-led practice but equally work across all stages, from brief and conception development to detailed planning applications, development and on-site operations. They truly provide a high-quality service to each of their clients. Due to a range of new projects having been realised, they are now looking to take on a new Architect (or experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant / Architectural Technician). The ideal candidate would have experience with MicroGDS.

Your new role:

As an Architect (or experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant / Architectural Technician), you will need to take on and manage your own projects, working closely with the practice's lead Architect and demonstrate good attention to producing detailed drawings, using MicroGDS. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting, residential and commercial office projects across the South of the UK and have the opportunity to visit sites. As an Architect / Part 2 Architectural Assistant / Architectural Technician, you will need to produce design and technical drawings, run projects, work on planning applications and with good communication skills, liaise between parties.

About you:



* An Architect (or experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant / Architectural Technician), ideally with good experience of MicroGDS.
* Recent, proven experience of producing technical detailing - someone practically-minded.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple jobs.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Project-running experience.
* Be able to work on your own initiative as well as alongside another Architect.
* Good design-led approach.
