A mixed gender public secondary school ages 11-16 is seeking an Art & Design teacher who inherits strong classroom management and pastoral skills. The school appointed a new head teacher this academic year and is looking for new and hungry teachers to support in moving the school to the next level. There are also some exciting re-development plans to take the schools to another level and ensuring there are truly excellent teaching facilities available. It is easily accessible within a couple of minute's walk of the train station which has good links to London, Brighton, Reading and Tonbridge. In the role you can benefit from:

Your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum
* Setting challenging tasks and homework
* Marking and providing effective feedback on completed work

Key requirements for the position include:

* A clear and up-to-date enhanced DBS check (we can support you with your application)
* QTS is desirable but not essential, NQTs will be considered for this role
* Experience of teaching art is essential and photography is desirable
* A degree or relevant teaching qualification
* The right to work in the UK
