Asset Compliance Manager

Are you looking to work closer to home? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Asset Compliance Manager based in a Local Authority in West London.


Post: Asset Compliance Manager

Rate: Circa £33 - £34 per hour

We are looking for an experienced Asset Compliance Manager to take strategic accountability and direct and indirect operational responsibility for ensuring the Council's compliance with its landlord statutory and non-statutory duties and obligations is met and maintained on the portfolios assigned to the post holder.


The main duties of the role are as followings;



* Develop and implement a risk management approach to Compliance and the elimination and reduction of hazards through the delivery of training, maintenance, inspection and testing work.
* Carry out workforce involvement and consultation to identify and consider all risks. Carry out accident and loss investigations and scenario planning including stakeholder consultation.
* Rank the risks and prioritise mitigation and programmed action within financial limits.
* Develop and provide a comprehensive suite of policies, processes and procedures that are current and reflect all relevant statutory and regulatory requirement and best practice.
* Translate strategy, policy and procedures into objectives, programmes, projects, key performance measures and management and reporting information.

Requirements



* NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
* Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and good practice.
* Knowledge of the compliance and regulatory framework in which ALMO's and Registered Providers operate in relation to health and safety, data management and insurance.
* Track record of achievement at a management level in a similarly large and complex service delivery organisation.
