Asset Database Co-ordinator

Trafford Park, Manchester

£27,000 + Package

Duties and Responsibilities -
To manage data input and changes within Concept to ensure accurate recording of assets and support the maintenance of contract Planned Maintenance Schedules
Provide a single point of contact for technical staff, support staff and management with regards to the Concept database

Makes changes and update Concept as required to ensure assets are accurate in description, location, quantity and resource allocation and the appropriate task set is allocated to its' maintenance.
Follow quality assurance procedures and protocols as advised by line manager ensuring all data changes are controlled, receive the appropriate sanction before implementation and are recorded.
Liaise with Mobile Technicians and site based Caretakers/FM's to ensure planned maintenance dates are accurate and maintain the business' statutory compliance.
Provide advice and guidance as requested on data changes.
Undertake and complete changes as directed and within deadlines.
Accurately assign planned maintenance tasks as either statutory or otherwise, seeking guidance where required first.
Support the Lifecycle and Condition survey process as required by providing asset data when requested.
Act as a point of contact with ICT support colleagues in regards to Concept changes and development.
Undertake and follow-up any actions needed to resolve situational circumstances for which you have been pre-authorised to undertake.
Liaise with Operational Management team to ensure effective communications through the delivery process.
Liaise with 3rd Party Service Providers as required to resource scheduling and resource issues.

The ideal candidate -
The knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the position are:
* GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent;
* Excellent IT skills specifically Excel.(Must be able to use formulas and pivot tables as a minimum) and CAFM systems
* Experience in a similar role with a background in Facilities Management administration; and
* Good knowledge of CAFM systems including database management
* Previous experience in labour resource planning
* Broad understanding of common Building Services and Systems (M&E)
* Knowledge of best practice in building maintenance, including industry standard such as SFG20 and other regulatory frameworks and guidance notes.
* Proven track record of working successfully to deadlines

* 'A' Level passes or recognised equivalent;
* Building management experience
