Assistant Principal Blackpool

We are working in partnership with Waterloo Academy in order to recruit an Assistant Principal to join their fantastic team.

Required from: January 2019
Salary: Leadership spine L5 - L9

The Academy Council of Waterloo Primary Academy and the trustees of Zest Academy Trust wish to appoint an inspirational Assistant Principal. The successful candidate, in this brand new post, will strengthen a developing and forward-thinking senior leadership team, who are committed to the continued improvement of our Academy. Located in Blackpool's South Shore, Waterloo is a thriving, exciting and diverse three-form entry primary academy and nursery with approximately 670 pupils on roll and over 100 staff.

This post is full time and permanent. There will be a teaching responsibility and significant leadership time for the post and will focus primarily on raising standards across the school, along with specific responsibility for:

* leading either EYFS & KS1 OR KS2 to be negotiated in line with strengths
* leading developments in teaching, learning & assessment and safeguarding
