My client, a large privately owned subcontractor are looking for an Assistant QS to join their team managing frames and groundworks packages up to the value of £20m. This West London based position is ideal for someone with 2-3 years experience who is keen to prove their experience in a new company and step up to Quantity Surveyor in the near future.

Location: West London

Roles and responsibilities:

* Preparation of cost estimates, cost plans, tender documents, interim valuations of the construction
* Provide general support in the cost management and financial reporting
* Attend meetings to provide QS input, review project progress and present project data as appropriate
* Working on own projects as appropriate

Candidate Requirements:

* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Civil Engineering or similar / Equivalent HND (not necessary)
* Working knowledge of NEC/JCT
* Have a very good work ethic and be willing to work hard
