Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Contract Type - Permanent

Location - Sussex

Salary - up to £45,000 plus package

Job Title - Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Client: An award winning Sussex contractor with a company annual turn-over in the region of £60mil. Projects consist of education, retail, healthcare and commercial giving you the opportuntiy to be exposed to all manner of projects, frameworks and forms of contract.

Position: Seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who will primarily be based on site in Sussex reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will initially be responsible for assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the procurement, payments and sub- contract management.

Requirements



* Ideally previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor
* Project experience in Commercial, Retail or Education is a benefit
* HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferable
* Highly Organised
* Good negotiation skills
