Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Contract Type - Permanent

Location - Maidstone, Kent

Salary - £35,000 plus package

Client: An Award Winning, Local Kent Contractor with projects consisting of Fit-Out, Design & Build & Refurbishment within Heritage, Healthcare & Education. Projects throughout Kent ranging from £250k to £7Mil.

Position: Seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor who will primarily be based from the Head Office in Maidstone, Kent reporting to a Senior Surveyor. You will be assisting the Senior Surveyor to ensure the financial position of the Construction Project is accurately reported and controlled effectively.


* Ideally previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor
* Project experience in Commercial, Retail or Industrial
* HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is desirable but not a necessity
* Highly Organised
* Good negotiation skills
