Assistant Site Manager (Airports) - East London - Immediate Start

An Assistant Site Manager is required to oversee a new build industrial unit that forms part of the upcoming redevelopment of City Airport in East London. The project is valued at approximately £6m and has only just started on site. Initial demolition and enabling works are currently ongoing with the steel frame due to start on site shortly. The successful candidate will have experience of managing new build construction projects from start to finish. Ideally the Assistant Site Manager will have also some previous experience of working on aviation projects and will have come from a civil engineering background.

Role/duties:
Reporting to a site based Project Manager they will be required to ensure smooth construction process including managing of all site labour and sub-contractors, management of construction programme, minimising/eliminating potential programme delays. The Assistant Site Manager will also liaise with the client, subcontractors, associated consultants and be able to chair regular progress meetings.

Qualifications:
Relevant qualification and tickets - CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid.
