A Chartered Structural Engineer at a senior level is sought to join this structural consultancy at their offices based in South West London.
The practice is well established and expanding due to its continually increasing workload. The firm works mainly in the high end residential sector, both new build and refurbishment, often bespoke projects involving basement design and multi-storey schemes. Other projects include commercial schemes such as schools and religious buildings. Projects normally range from £150,000 up to £10m. They also get involved in various temporary works design solutions.
This is an exciting time for a firm in its growth phase, and this position is for a candidate to play a key role in the development of the business. You must be a Chartered engineer with experience of working on a variety of buildings schemes and be technically excellent from a design point of view. Temporary works design experience would also be preferable, as would your being MIStructE. Your role will include leading projects and design teams. You will need to be commercially astute, and to bring work or win work.
Your duties will include hands on design and also involvement in the financial side of things such as invoicing and pricing and managing projects from inception from completion. You need to be a commercially minded individual and salary will be commensurate with how good you are! The company is financially sound and this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate looking for responsibility and progression.
