BMS / Controls Engineer -London - Up to £40,000 - £60,000 Dependant on Experience

I have a fantastic opportunity to work for a Leading maintenance contractor based in London who have the contracts for some of the City's most iconic and futuristic buildings. The client are National Leading maintenance contractor who are expanding and are looking to set up a specialist BMS / controls division. They are a Building services specialist who have a fantastic reputation across the industry for delivering an exceptional service to their customers and investing heavily in their staff in order to develop the future of their staff and business alike.

My Client is currently have a position for a number of BMS / controls Engineer to work across a large portfolio of contracts for BMS / controls Systems across a Large commercial estate of buildings and oversee the management of contractual and legislative Planned and Reactive Maintenance tasks for all BMS systems including planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, commissioning and installation, including graphics and software.

Currently, the company has around £9 million per annum of BMS work however they have to sub-contract this out as they do not have the required skills to conduct the associated work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a career and the opportunity to grow and be part of a rapidly expanding team with good opportunities to progress into a senior position within the organisation.


* Manage and maintain the BMS systems Equipment register and BMS Logbooks.
* Supervise and oversee the works conducted on the BMS Systems and associated plant.
* Maintain close liaison with the BMS Specialist for any operational concerns and ensure completion of the annual BMS Risk Assessment and closure of any actions from this and any other specialist reports.
* Implement and action the day to day monitoring and maintenance of risk management systems so as to ensure there is no uncontrolled impact on day to day operations.
* Resolve operational issues as they occur and ensuring that Incident report

* The role as BMS / controls engineer is a massive opportunity to be part of a smart technology controls team that will now grow significantly over the next two years.
* The company has over 10,000 buildings throughout the UK and there are so many different control systems and new Smart sensory technology sensors and systems that filters through various different platforms so experience with working across many platforms would be advantageous.


* Basic salary up to £60,000
* 23 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays
* Overtime Rates x 1.5, x2 Sundays

* Apprentice trained
* Electrical or Mechanical qualified - Level 2 and 3 or Equivalent.
* 17th Edition
* Experience and formal training in major systems i.e. Trend, Siemens, Cylon, Innotech as well as working knowledge of HVAC plant.
* System integration knowledge i.e. Modbus, Bacnet also an advantage.
