job description

A Software company based in the City is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to their finance team. If successful you will be placed in a warm and friendly environment where hard work is rewarded with progressive opportunities. Reporting to the financial controller you will be responsible for:

- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring they are paid on a timely basis.
- Working within our accounting software.
- Producing Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Producing Accruals and Prepayments
- Maintaining backup for all invoicing and expenditure.
- Performing bank reconciliations between bank accounts and accounting software.
- Managing corporate credit card accounts
- Assisting with VAT Returns, Year Ends and generally where required.

The idea candidate will have

- 3 years' finance experience within a similar role.
- Preferably AAT qualified
- Exposure to multi currencies
- A good understanding of debits and credits
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- A strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
