Building Information Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Building Information officer based in a Housing Association in South East London.

Post: Building Information Officer

Rate: Starting from £34,000 per annum depending on experience, plus £1,300 per annum Essential Car User Allowance

We are looking for an experienced Building Information Officer to be responsible for ensuring that asset information for new homes is sufficient to ensure the long term operational needs of the asset, resident satisfaction and safety.

The main duties of the role are as followings;



* Contribute to the Maintenance Strategy team's day to day activities, driving best practice whilst setting an example in delivering excellent customer service.
* Act as the lead officer for the Technical Services Department in the development, transfer into management and performance of new homes.
* Collaborate with departmental colleagues and those within the wider group regarding the preparation and dissemination of information to ensure the operational reediness of teams and contribute to project team/working groups as required and facilitate and implement change where required.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ensure H&S, regulatory, legal & governance compliance for areas under the job holder's control.

Requirements



* Knowledge of BIM level 2 methodology and best practice.
* An understanding of the principles of soft landings methodology.
* Knowledge of maintenance and/ or contract management.
* An understanding of the requirements of post occupancy evaluation.
* You will be computer literate with a good proven competency in data management and reporting systems and MS office.
* Good technical knowledge in development, construction, maintenance or asset management and a related professional qualification would be desirable.
