Building Surveyor

Are you a Building Surveyor who likes the sound of operating at the premium end of the market? Do you like the sound of pushing your career on with an industry powerhouse with some of the best investor and occupier clients, who have beautiful open plan offices near St. Pauls and hold a whole host of fun social events for their staff?

If you're and experienced Chartered Building Surveyor who likes the sound of being surrounded by 35 like minded professionals who want to be at the top of their game then this is the role for you. This leading building consultancy is seeking a talented and ambitious Building Surveyor to work closely with internal and external investor and occupier clients from international corporate occupiers and investment funds to large top tier developers.

How the successful Building Surveyor will be rewarded:



* Up to £55,000 basic salary
* Car allowance of up to £4,000
* Generous contributory pension up to 10%
* Very generous bonus scheme (55% of company profit goes into bonus pot for staff!)
* 25 days annual leave + 2 extra days at company discretion

* Extra one off annual leave for length of service (up to 4 extra weeks)

The role of the successful Building Surveyor:



* Preparation of Schedule of Dilapidations and negotiating on behalf of Landlord or Tenant including interim schedules of dilapidations and preparation of dilapidations assessments;
* Purchasers and occupiers technical due diligence reviews of buildings including the coordination of wider specialist consultancy reports;
* Vendors packs due diligence reports of individual and portfolios of properties;
* Preparation of design and specification documentation, running of the tender process and the administration of refurbishment projects
* Planned Preventative Maintenance Inspections and Reporting

Requirements of the Building Surveyor filling this post:



* Ideally MRICS qualified with some commercial experience
* Strong grasp of both professional and project based Building Surveying matters
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team, supporting and working with colleagues and other departments
* Ability to build, develop and maintain client relationships
* Can provide clear and concise written communication and reports with excellent attention to detail
