Building Surveyor

Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor with experience in the retail sector? Would you like the opportunity to work with some of the world's leading businesses, utilising your expertise on landmark projects and real estate strategies? If you like the sound of joining the Property and Asset Management team of one of the leading names in property then look no further.

An exciting opportunity and career changing opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join this powerhouse of a Property and Asset Management team, working with one of the firms biggest and most prestigious clients. You'll be an integral part of the team managing a portfolio of retail parks in Greater London and the South East, providing market leading advice and property management to the client. What the successful Building Surveyor will be doing:



* Liaising with client and communicating client's objectives and instructions for each property to the team
* Acting as key point of contact for the client in all matters relating to the properties
* Co-ordinating in house team and procuring required services from third party providers to deliver the management service
* Client reporting and attending periodic formal client review meetings
* Introducing new concepts and ideas to enhance the business and identifying business leads and opportunities
* Working closely with Facilities Managers across portfolio

What the successful Building Surveyor will need:



* Ideally MRICS qualified
* Strong client relationship skills and attention to detail
* To be comfortable with report writing and have strong verbal and numerical skills
* To be a team player and have excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
* An ability to work independently with minimal supervision but also be able to work well under pressure and assist team in meeting tight deadlines
* A practical understanding of commercial property and asset management
