Building Surveyor

Are you an Associate Building Surveyor or a highly experienced Senior Building Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have a proven track record within private consultancy? Would you like to work for a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy and push your career forward?

My client is a successful construction and property consultancy based near London Bridge, specialising across a number of key disciplines including building & quantity surveying, project management, architecture and engineering. An exciting and rewarding position is now available for an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join their London office as an Associate. This is a diverse and successful team where you will be responsible for overseeing the work of both qualified and junior Surveyors as well as being client facing with a number of key clients from day one.

The role of an Associate Building Surveyor is a key one where you will be responsible for acting as lead consultant for a variety of projects and agreeing fee proposals. Other responsibilities will include:



* Briefing clients, coordinating consultants and contractors, spec writing, tendering, drafting contractual documents and contract administration
* Managing an internal team and mentoring and supervising staff
* Maintaining and development client relationships in order to develop new sources of work
* Delivering professional Employer's Agent and Project Management services

The successful Building Surveyor should:



* Be degree educated in a relevant subject
* Be full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
* Have a strong track record in all areas of Building Surveying
* Be experienced in the development and nurturing of client relationships and have the ability to win new business.
