Building Surveyor

Are you an experienced Building Surveyor based in or around Hampshire? If so and being part of a growing team within a world leading and well-known consultancy appeals to you then my client would love to hear from you.

The Company

This exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven Building Surveyor is with a leading international consultancy and construction firm that has been delivering world class projects for almost 30 years. They have almost 5,000 staff across their global hubs and pride themselves on attracting the best people who bring new ideas to some of the most exciting, challenging and inspiring projects around the world. You will be joining an already successful team of 8 professional staff based in Winchester to work predominantly on an exciting and fruitful partnering contract with a County Council, delivering a variety of projects across all building types within the portfolio.

The role of the successful Building Surveyor:

Undertake day to day delivery of core building surveying professional services that include condition and building surveys, party wall, defect analysis and dilapidations matters.



* Project delivery skills that include preparation of specifications, schedule of works, and contract administrating a project from inception to completion. CAD skills are seen as preferable.
* Win work through business development with existing internal and new external clients.
* Provide support with the preparation of tender bid submissions for public and private sector frameworks.

Requirements



* Relevant degree level education
* Be well versed in the delivery of projects in the region of £200,000-£250,000
* Be able to demonstrate a positive approach to business, have excellent communication skills and contribute to driving the business forward
* Strong organisations skills and the ability to work under pressure to achieve results
