ResponsibilitiesProcuring insourcing contracts by working with key personnel within trusts, clinical commissioning groups and primary care organisationsAttending of appointments on a daily basis all over the UK Develop and deliver sales presentationsDeliver targeted amount of customer visits following robust business plan and prioritisation processDelivering contracts within minimum margin requirementsAssist with the mobilisation of new services including development of project plans in line with business processesIdentify new revenue opportunities within the public health sector and opportunities to grow existing contractsAttending regular field sales meetings and attending industry events as requiredRepresent the organisation at meetings and feedback information to the teamField sales role, traveling within the UK
About you?Proven experience being able to close sales in new business development role (field based)Previous experience of public sector sales/procurement/bid writingA proven track record of winning bids with a long sales cycleHighly motivated and organised with the ability to own a bid/projectThe ability to understand and engage all key stakeholders in bidsA high level of negotiating, presentation and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCool-tempered and able to handle rejectionOutstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaintsKnowledge of sales methodologyMicrosoft office skillsAbility to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given timeDetail orientedClean driving license
