Responsibilities:You will be managing an existing sales territory North East & ScotlandYou will be responsible for the delivery of both the sales & margin budgetsManage and develop the existing customer base to ensure business retentionPlanning, preparing and delivering presentationsGenerating quotations and reportsIdentifying opportunities to increase our penetration through gap analysis and upselling or cross-selling our product offering.Meeting and visiting clientsWork closely with customers to promote products to end users, by demonstrating expert product knowledgeProviding site surveys and training to match end user requirements.Identify and recommend new customers who can add incremental sales value, particularly in verticals where we are underrepresented.Develop strategic plans.Work closely with the internal sales team to ensure alignment of our strategy, maximise our coverage with existing customers and identify new opportunities for growth.Developing and managing all accounts and opportunities.Provide continuous market intelligence, ensuring that we can react quickly to market trends and or competitor activity.Introduce new products to the market through engagement with end-users to build demand and back-selling through our distributor network.Attend and support all training days, exhibitions, or such as may be required which, may from time to time be outside of contracted working hours.Ensure that all company records are kept up to date
About you?Must have proven track record in a sales/ business development roleExperience selling products is essentialExperience selling technical products would be advantageousMUST have experience selling directly to the end user Uses sound judgement and integrity to make clear, transparent decisionsCustomer centric approachedAbility to generate own leads and attend appointmentsBe able to maximise and develop accountsConfident, articulate, works well under pressureAbility to work towards and exceed KPI's and targetsA high level of negotiating, presentation and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter, who works using their own initiative with minimum supervisionOutstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaintsKnowledge of sales methodologyMicrosoft office skillsAbility to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given timeClean driving licence
